1.Women in Sink / 2015 / Dir: Iris Zaki / 38 min / March 7 / 5:30 pm

The film shows 10 portraits of women – Arabs and Jews, in the hair-washing sink, speaking with curious Iris about politics, history, life and love, representing contrasting voices of the Israeli society.
In a little hair salon owned by a Christian Arab in Haifa, Israel, the director installs a minimalist film set over the washing-basin, where she chats with the clients she is shampooing. She thus paints an unexpected choral portrait of this space that provides temporary freedom, where Arab and Jewish women share their differences and a community of views on politics, history and love.
7 wins & 5 nominations.

2. Amy / 2015 /Dir: Asif Kapadia / 128 min / March 7 / 6:30 pm

A once-in-a-generation talent, Amy Winehouse was a musician that captured the world’s attention. A pure jazz artist in the most authentic sense – she wrote and sung from the heart using her musical gifts to analyse her own problems. The combination of her raw honesty and supreme talent resulted in some of the most unique and adored songs of the modern era.
From BAFTA award-winning director Asif Kapadia (Senna), AMY tells the incredible story of six-time Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse – in her own words. Featuring extensive unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks, this strikingly modern, moving and vital film shines a light on the world we live in, in a way that very few can.
Won 1 Oscar. Another 50 wins & 44 nominations.

3.Salma / 2013 / Dir: Kim Longinotto / 91 min / March 8 / 6:00 pm

After Salma reached puberty, she spent nine years trapped in one small room.
Millions of young girls endure the same fate, but Salma refused to let the long years of imprisonment break her spirit.
