Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation, in association with the  Embassy of Cuba in India, New Delhi is organizing a CUBAN FILM FESTIVAL 2023 in connection with the celebration of CUBAN NATIONAL DAY at Goethe-Institut, No. 4, 5th Street, Rutland Gate, Srirampuram, Chennai – 600006.

SYNOPSIS OF THE FILMS

1	City in red (City in red)	From the creative mind of Manos Cizek; A world of colour and music created from poetry of Dinos Christianopoulos & Maria Tataraki interwoven within backdrop of futuristic Athens, which faces modern political turmoil due to a malfunction within the android population. Red City brings human experience to question, giving way to a politically potent message.
2	Habanastation (Habanastation)	Directed mainly for kids, the film speaks of a Havana that ‘reveals two distinct faces, from the everyday life of a couple of kids’, according to the film’s official synopsis.
3	In search of a space (En el cuerpo equivocado)	The film-which debuted in Cuban theaters last year-tells the moving story of Mavi Susel, the first trans gender person in Cuba to receive a sex reassignment operation, in 1988.
4	Rumbata (Rumbata)	Moments of the shooting in the City of the Tinajones, I had the privilege of capturing with my camera. It is a work of about an hour in duration, which summarizes the essences of Rumbatá’s life of him, since its emergence in 1996.
