INDO CINE APPRECIATION FOUNDATION in association with Embassy of Spain in India (New Delhi), Instituto Cervantes (New Delhi) and Honorary Consulate of Spain and Head of Mission in Chennai are organizing a Spanish Film Festival from 17th to 19th Feb 2020 at Alliance Française of Madras No. 24, College Road, Chennai – 600006 as per under noted schedule.
The Festival will be inaugurated by Mr. Antony Lobo, Hon. Consul of Spain and Head of Mission, Chennai. Mr. Bruno Plasse, Executive Director, Indo-French Cultural Centre, Chennai will be the Chief Guest. Kalaimamani Ms. Sukanya Ramesh, Cine Artiste, will light the lamp. Mr. Sivan Kannan, President, ICAF will preside over the function.

Lives of 3 women, Ane, Lourdes and Tere, will be deeply affected and linked by the appearance of some bouquets. Carla gets a call from the small town where she grew up in the South of Spain. Her father, who she hasn’t spoken with in many years, is very ill. 5. A Gun in Each Hand/Una pistola en cada mano/19-2-2020 / 7.45 pm
The portrait of eight 40s overwhelmed and disconcerted by their lives. Unable to express their emotions, they find themselves thrown into situations that are both comical and pathetic, revealing their major conflict: the crisis of male identity. An x-ray of the love life of these men that uncompromisingly depicts their weaknesses and quest for a new identity. Wins: 8, Nominations: 7
