We are happy to inform you that, we INDO CINE APPRECIATION FOUNDATION in association with The Embassy of Chile in India, New Delhi and Honorary Consulate of Chile in Chennai are organizing a Chilean Film Festival for the First time in Chennai from 20-22 February 2017 at Red Carpet Hall, RKV Film & Television Institute, 317-G, NSK Salai, Vijaya Garden, Vadapalani, Chennai. The festival will be inaugurated by Mrs. Sunita Shahaney, Honorary Consul of Chile in Chennai. Mr. Debendra Narayan Kar, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Chennai will be the Chief Guest. Mr. Sivan Kannan, President, ICAF will preside over the function. Ms. Shylaja Chetlur, Actor, Entrepreneur will light the lamp.

December 1978. Chile and Argentina are within days of starting an armed confrontation on the southern border. In Patagonia, a Chilean patrol accidentally breaks its compass and is lost in the middle of the pampa. They dig their trenches without knowing if it is Chile or Argentina. A long wait begins that will interrupt an Argentine patrol that is installed in front of them. Both wait for the war now, but the tense wait will give way to the friendship that occurs between human beings who are enemies, but who confused by the solitude of the pampa, transit in a fragile line between the duty and the will.
